2020 Event

POSTPONED

12th Annual Yes2College Seminar POSTPONED- This year's organizer - MARISA  BRICCA

This program is made possible thanks for our many volunteers!
Designed for children going into 9th grade in Aug/Sept of 2019, high school students, their siblings and parents

What is YES2College?
This is a free event for parents, children and siblings to learn about the transitioning process of being a teenager to becoming a young adult (8th grade summer onwards)
It has three components:
  1. Learning to manage diabetes and life as you group up
  2. Learning to navigate the high school years - diabetes, studies, standardized tests, financial aids, scholarships, sports, application process, stress and parental role.
  3. Learning about college with diabetes
These discussions are led by youngsters who have experience in these areas, many of whom have diabetes themselves.
Please join us to learn and give your children the opportunity to learn how to grow up and be happy and successful.
